With 01.09.2021 the new EU directive came into force. After a transitional period until 1 September of this year, any use of fluorescent tubes will then be prohibited (even in service applications). Retrofit solutions (simple replacement of the illuminants) are not only mostly excluded from environmental subsidies, but also not recommended due to brittle or defective sockets.
